The star actor hails from Enugu Agidi village of Anambra State. He was born in Libreville, Gabon to Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Esomugha. He is the only son. He had his primary education in Gabon.
He attended Federal Government College, Kwali, Abuja (Nigeria). He also attended the University of Jos where he studied Psychology and received a diploma in Banking and Finance.
He ventured into Nollywood shortly after graduation, and he quickly established himself as a fan favorite. He has since featured in over 150 films, some of which include Games Men Play, Fatal Seduction, Royal Covenant, Perfect Temptation, Life Incidence, Love My Way, and Beyonce & Rihanna.
