Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has raised concerns over an overwhelming number of calls and messages she receives daily from Nigerian men, revealing that more than 5,000 of them have expressed interest in marrying her.

In a recent video circulating on social media, the actress stated that although she is currently single, she is not actively seeking a relationship. She explained that the situation escalated after her phone number—linked to her Facebook account—became widely accessible, making it difficult for her to stop the influx of messages.

“I have over 5,000 men in my DM saying they want to marry me. I don’t even know which video went viral. Please, I am single but not searching. Stop texting my number.”
Nkechi Blessing appealed to the public to respect her privacy, stressing that her romantic life is no longer open for public discussion.
The actress was previously married to Opeyemi Falegan in 2021 but announced she was single in May 2025. After the separation, she stated that she would keep her future relationships out of the public eye, although she has occasionally dropped subtle hints about finding love again.
